Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This Refunds & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases made through the website https://envisagethreads.com/ (“Site”) by customers (“you”, “your”). These terms are in addition to our Terms & Conditions, and are intended to comply with Indian laws governing consumer rights, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the E-Commerce (Consumer Protection) Rules, 2020.
- Cancellation of Orders by You
- Before dispatch
You may cancel your order at any time before the product has been dispatched. If you cancel during this period, you will receive a full refund of the order amount (including shipping charges, if already charged). - After dispatch
Once the product has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. If courier/shipping allows a return at that stage, return & refund will be handled according to our Return/Refund process (see section 3). - How to cancel
To cancel, you must contact us via email or through the customer support channel provided on the Site, quoting your order ID, product name, and reason for cancellation.
- Refunds Due to Defects, Damage, or Incorrect Delivery
If the product you receive is defective, damaged in transit, incorrect (wrong item/type/quantity), or materially different from what was described, you are entitled to:
- A replacement, or
- A full refund (including product price, taxes, shipping), or
- Store credit (if you prefer and we agree).
You must notify us within [7-10] days of delivery with photographic evidence (if possible). We will inspect and verify the claim. If approved, we will process the refund or replacement at the earliest.
- Returns (Change of Mind)
“Change of mind” returns are permitted under the following conditions:
- The return request must be made within 15 days of delivery
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, with all tags, accessories, manuals, etc. intact
- Return shipping may be your responsibility, unless the change of mind arises from our error (e.g. wrong/damaged item)
- Refund Process & Timeframes
- Once your cancellation or return request is approved, we will initiate the refund in the same mode as the original payment (unless otherwise agreed).
- Refunds will generally be processed within [5-7 business days] of our approval of the request, subject to payment gateway / bank / credit card issuer processing times.
- If there are delays, we will inform you.
- No Unreasonable Cancellation Charges
- Under the E-Commerce Rules, 2020, we will not impose unreasonable cancellation charges. If we impose any cancellation charge, it will not be disproportionate to the loss incurred.
- Any cancellation charge (if applicable) will be clearly disclosed before you confirm your purchase on the Site.
- When Refunds May Be Denied or Reduced
Refunds or returns may be denied or reduced in certain circumstances, for example:
- If the product has been used, damaged by you, or not in its original condition
- If any tags or original packaging are missing
- If undue time has passed since delivery or you did not notify us within the required period
- If the product is custom-made or personalized where we clearly communicated that such items are non-returnable (unless defective)
- Responsibility for Return Shipping
- If return is due to our fault (wrong, defective, damaged, or misdescribed product), we will bear the cost of return shipping.
- In case of change of mind returns, you may have to bear the return shipping cost.
- Refund for Failed Transactions / Payment Issues
If a payment fails (for example, because the transaction was declined, or there was some technical issue), and yet you are charged, we will process an auto-refund. The timeline for auto-refunds will depend on the payment method and bank / payment gateway used.
- Effect of Refunds on Titles / Risk
- Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery at the address you provided.
- Title (ownership) also passes only once you have paid in full.
- A refund (or cancellation) reverses the payment but does not imply any obligation to retain title or risk beyond what the law requires.
- Legal Rights & Remedies
- In addition to this Policy, you have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the E-Commerce Rules, 2020, e.g. to seek remedy via consumer forums / complaint redressal in case of non-compliance by the seller.

- Modification of Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or regulatory requirements. We will post the updated version on the Site with a “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes indicates your agreement to the updated policy.
